Interesting. I had someone tell me he looks sad. Well, turtles do move slowly, so maybe he is exhausted.

It's the eyes, they do look sad, like he is tired and soooo weary; maybe he is old & reaching the end of his/her life.
You stylization is fantastic. So beautiful. Sorry I didn't mention this before.

Thank you. Even though, I'm a realist, I let a lot of subconscious things through in my work. For instance, a lot of people see faces in my work, even when I didn't draw a person. I like that, though, that you see more each time you look at it.
