Description The forces of the golden knights have been hit hard by the forces of Ulandur. Their only chance to win the battle is to ally with the dreaded forces of darkness...

Will they withstand the approaching enemy?

Trying to work a bit longer on a single painting. This just took me hours of work So this time I was able to fight my impatience...

Nice work man. would've love to see some more of those bright green tones from the background reflected on the edges of the knights armors.

Yeah, that's right, those two guys (or maybe girls, you never know...) don't get really drawn into the scene..

What program and brushes are you using? I'm trying to get a similar brush stroke look and am having little luck. <_< I hate being new to programs lol. Also, very nice work.

Ok, this is going a bit complicated to explain only in words but i'll try :

Program/Hardware: Photoshop CS5 and Wacom Tablet (Preassure sensitivity)

Brushes:
- Hard Round for sketches
- Weird Brush (some random strokes and dots on white canvas turned into a brush) to create the basic composition (Opacity jitter and scattering on)
- Soft round for light/atmosphere
- Flat round brush (squeezed circle)

For all of my brushes I set the size and opacity control to pen preassure...

Hope that clears it up, if you still have a question, please ask, maybe I'll do a step by step tutorial, because making your own brush is the key to success. (Copying will get you more confusion)

Ahhh. I've been using Corel Painter 4 and I have a Wacom Tablet as well (also pressure sensitive). Thanks for the tips.

You're welcome. As I stated before, find some paintings/drawings you like and try to copy the stroke effect (not the painting itself)...

Happy experiments!
