Hmm I think your approach when it comes to environments reminds me of an artist called Dylan Cole. If you can find some of his videos in the internet I suggest you watch them, he has very good tutorials. And yes, there are very accurate artists as they are fast, but have in mind that many production illustrations are made with the purpose of being observed at a certain size. When you zoom into a lot of them, you will find just pure scratches and raw strokes, but because they are so good when you put that together at a certain size, it looks flawless. Good luck at college man and keep up the work

Hey im back from the dead hehe. Well, the illustration has a good sense of depth and tone value that can tell theres distance between the mountains. The light source and general lightning makes sense and you managed to deliver the idea that maybe a blizzard is about to happen or it already did. The only thing I would really work next time is on the styling of the blue strokes in the front mountain, not the ones on the snow, the ones that are part of the rock, but since is probably one of your quick sketches I say is good enough. Keep it up

Welcome back to the living people... Haha I know that those strokes are quite bad, so I really have to work on my patience... because I drew those strokes at the end of the painting and I was quite in a rush to finish it...

Haha, yes I do painting and drawing only in my spare free time so I'm always trying to be fast instead of being accurate

Ohh believe me, im not into accuracy haha, I'd rather concentrate on trying to deliver a particular feeling with my illustrations. I think you have good potential of becoming a great concept artist, since you have the ability of working fast enough and establishing light source, sense of depth and perspective, wich is very important for production painting.

Well since I start studying in September I now have some weeks without school, time do do a hundred drawings of cats (tigers, lions, etc). It is really important to establish a feeling but I noticed that great artists such as Feng Zhu are quite accurate, even if the painting itself has just very few strokes...

I'm a big fan of winter so i love it. Snow is tops. Have you seen the concept art for Killzone 3 by any chance? Cool mountain paintings.
