Description So the other day, I went to Micheal's, and I went to pick up some more alcoholic-based markers. However, they didn't have the exact color I was looking for. (B16 Bluebird) So I went up to the counter to ask if I could go back to see if they had it. I looked, and then I saw them. The legendary copic markers that (almost) every professional uses. I thought, "Ehh, why not just try them." I got two of the copics and two of the off-brand markers (Artist's Loft) that I've been using and made to color this. The Artist's Loft were $4 per marker and the Copics were $8 per marker.
I've been using Artist's Loft  markers for months now, and after using the copics, all I can say is that the copics are a little bit easier to hold, there is special container for them, and you can refill them (at lest from what I've heard.) To me, it makes sense that copics would be considered the professional brand, and every other dual-tip marker is some student brand. However, I was able to color in the hair and Pascal with the Artist's Loft, and I did the background with the azalea-colored copic marker. In the end, both felt incredibly similar to use. I guess I could say that all this means is that if someone likes the effect dual-tip markers bring, and they want to use them, cheap doesn't exactly mean bad.
Also, buying the copics gave me a new outlook on this video. ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uc8jb_… )
ALL THAT MONEY GONE TO WASTE! D:

(P.S. there are A TON of mistakes made in this piece, but I just couldn't bring myself to start over.)
