Love the piece, has some 40k and Blade runner vibes to it, while the officer in the colonial style garb and similarly different attires do make the characters stand out effectively. Great composition and perspective, well done DrawingNightmare, keep it up.

I love this. The perspective and composition really gives it that space opera feel.

Wow! Stories and scenes are just flying out of this piece! I especially love the skyline, with tall buildings and sprawling wires.

Well this is exciting. It makes me wonder about everyone's story- not just the dashing gentleman in blue that pops out in the center bottom of the screen, but also the various spectators to his arrival. The level of detail in the higher buildings is simply astounding. Fantastic job.

It's weird...what I keep staring at is the figure with the hat (and the whole thing is downright lovely too). It must be the hat.

Okay, this right here...this is some stellar work. I see something like this and I want to write a story about it. Or I want to hear the story of how this place came into being. Seriously nice work. You built a world that I'm interested in with a single image. Really amazing work here.

awesome art! this type of sceneries is my favorite. Would greatly adore a landscape version of it...perhaps for a PC wallpaper or so. Using this one for my 7" tablet now

Awesome piece; I think my favorite aspect is the perspective that allows the viewer to see from the ground all the way up to that distant ship way up in the sky.

Now, I have a question for you: What things do you think of (as in the process of making the pic) when you paint this? I know it's one thing to paint natural scenes, but cities are another thing... I'd like to know what that "other thing" is to achieve a very nice picture like you have here, and obviously you've got it down! (lol, other than practice XD I do know that)

Lovely and very interestingly laid out. It feels almost like it's somewhere I've been before.

I LOVE this! Wish the Arabic on the right meant something or had some reason to be there other than filling in a sign, but that's minor. I especially like the wires across the top--I think if I made the aboveground part of the picture that nice I wouldn't want to put anything over it, but I think the wires really give the sense that you're underneath, which is really cool...
