I'm amazed by your improvement ;w;
The only thing that bothers me is that your shading isn't dark enough. Maybe it's just because of the photo, not sure, but darker shadows would suit it better. (for example, if you look at your reference, the leopard has really dark shadow on his neck. On your picture, that shadow is missing. It would add more depth, if you did it.)
And the whiskers should be thinner :3Β
It's a shame you decided to go with simple green background. You could draw some branches, trees, leaves...
But I'd say that this is one of your best works ^^ Keep at it!

You are right with the shading at the neck. The drawing has more shading then you can see on the photo, but it is not dark enough.
I am Always afraid to make thing too dark!

If you accidentaly make something too dark, you can just do night background as an excuse XD
