Prompt: “All at once, everything had changed.”
Summary:
Jacklyn found herself in a predicament that she never would have thought. After battling to avoid the flooding of water around her. She was eventually swept up in the rapids, she fought the entire way, leading to no where, trying to grasped onto anything she could. Jacklyn was caught by something, pulling her underneath, it took every bone in her body to get above water. By the grace of the Vora she found the last bit of strength to pull free. Rendering her unconscious, falling victim to the waters… she soon would wash upon shore later. Though she wasn’t sure how long she had been out, she was in pain and exhausted. She couldn’t find the strength to get up in that moment either, rather she would slowly blink and look from side to side. Resting her head into the embankment further, she wasn’t sure at all of what happened or where she was at.
Rather she solemnly closed her eyes again, too tired to cry, move or even call for help. Her started to hind leg throbbed in pain, yet she wasn’t completely sure as to why…
