Yeah I highly doubt the writers had the hindsight for that.
It would have been a better story IF they later on revealed being together meant this was the outcome. Now the story becomes figuring out ways to prevent their destiny of destroying all magic and so they can still be together. It creates conflict and puts their relationship to the test.
Otherwise, there's no way Star and Marco don't look like selfish bad guys with that finale.

Just what in god's name happened with Star Vs? First 2 seasons. Excellent. Marks hit, great characters( at least the main ones and a few select ones ), and it was just a fun show. Theeeeeeeeeeeen the tossed puzzle pieces that was season 3 happened and now the dumpster fire. SOMEONE is to blame for this. Either Disney or the creator but there is no way that all that happened just "happened".

Someone in Twitter told me there were “rumors that svtfoe crew werent expecting a full 4th season.”
So it’s possible they had no plan and they pulled this season and that finale out of their collective asses.

There better be some sort of convention interview or news spot that gives some sort of light on this. Star Vs. is just another damn disappointment that just seems to be a very frightening trend for current generation of cartoons. She-Ra is lightning striking to be that since it very much claimed that 7 episode were NOTHING happens is considered a season*.
Castlevainia either needs to get more episodes or just become seasonal specials. Because 4 episodes especially when they are half hour each. Does not count. No matter how well you are able to crunch everything in.

Rick & Morty have always been in silence about whatever is going on. Only the comics continue with their own thing. But each season always seem to bring out something good. :Y Granted last season gave us nut jobs who were to excited over discontinued themed sauce. But that was then.
