Description
Listening to a few CDs from a few years ago. Music that always makes me feel like I am now a completely different person than I was then. Yunno, the almost depressing nostalgic kind of music.16x20 Acrylic on Canvas.

It looks almost like a real landscape viewed from a cave in some exotic land, but the purple adds a serene splash of coolness that makes the picture both soothing and energetic.

I love how you seem to be looking out from a cave to that spot far away that you need to reach, where your life begins anew. I have traveled that cave and am gla to be coming forth into the light of life again.

its dreamy... its odd, the golden bit always looks like a boat the first time i glance, and then i look and think "nah... its sand, its obviously sand....." but i've done this like, 3 times now. i still see a boat when i glance... i find that kinda cool

the light play is interesting. it makes the eye move in a circular motion across the canvas. ...it almost resembles an eye... or perhaps even the sacred folds of the feminine genitalia, like a baby's view on the way out. nice work.
