this is first of few commissions that I am doing forthis is a double commission thing that took a lot of time to finish but it also made me do those speeds I am posting from last week
he allowed me to put this picture in DA so many times I figured I should post it

I'm surprised this composition and idea doesn't appear more often in the world of art. It's a feeling that audiences can empathize with instantly. (Also, I figure it's a successful picture if the audience can grasp what's going on without knowing anything about the characters or the setting beforehand. Language barriers aren't even a problem. Great picture!)

The body language on Alacrity is hilarious. xD From her uber-clenched, shaking fist and arm to that too-angry-to-really-be-listening look in her face, it just speaks all too clearly what she's thinking now, hahaha.
I like how you colored this as well. It makes her imaginary scenario stand out from what's actually happening, adding to the feeling that she's way too angry to be paying attention to what's really happening, heh.

I use a texture layer on top of everything set on overlay

you put a texture layer on top of all layers and set it on overlay
I don't ink my stuff, pencil only, and maybe a sharpie for filling the blacks if I have blacks
then I scan and just adjust the lines to become black
