That Story might sounds strange and prolly full of errors and mistakes because I wrote that in one hour while being tired af, still I hope you enjoy it (I'm still new to writing stuff but I want to improve)

A chatter filled the silent Puppet chamber. Two voices who intently discuss the difference between all kind if fungus.
“hmm” The lone occupant of the chamber listens to the discussion before swiping the screen away. Not important

Another Screen moves in front of him and an another transmission played
Two new voices filled the chamber, talking about the possibility of growing a forest or a jungle on top of their can’s
“...Interesting” he said intrigued before swiping the screen away

He pulled up the next screen, this time a chat of two who seem to just share overseer footage of wildlife. There is an embarrassing amount of Slugcat content.
“hmmp…” he hums as he swiped the screen away too, but not before making a copy of all the Slugcat pictures

Stains of Time resumes with this for a long cycle. Decrypting Transmission, inspection chat, audio or video recordings before achieving them in a dark blue data pearl hovering just above his hand. He could do that internally, which would be way faster, but that information requires his full attention to properly decipher and interpret.

He should feel bad about this but it is necessary, If his future projects are to save and help other Iterators, especially those who seek to cross themself out. Like Sliver…..like Them.
He needs to know who would want to leave the cycle.
All that information is for the future, right now he can’t do anything with it other than perhaps convert to those who want out and try to talk them out of it…which would lead to disaster, he is not a good talker…or therapist.

Frustration creeps back into his neurons. He will not see his kind follow THEM. He Will not see more can’s left to rot and collapse.
They had a purpose once and then they were left behind, left to rot. Working on a problem that doesn’t need to be resolved!
This is their world now….it could be their world, he wants to-

A quiet alert pulls him out of his mind and back into his chamber. The listening device he secretly installed on the Hyper-Relay antenna, which allows him to eavesdrop on conversations of others without them noticing, has intercepted a new LIVE transmission.

Immediately he stacks up the rest of his screens, opens another and starts to decrypt the transmission.
Encryption keys and security codes are no problem for him. He took on the responsibility to encrypt all communication channels of his own local group, and he has worked with security codes for a long time.
He rewrote his own codes more times than he flushed his systems. Dropping unnecessary restrictions of mechanical components like his fabricator. Or how he likes to call it ‘If i want to make a bomb I should be allowed to’.
Pure Joy fills his neurons as he replays the footage of the lightshow that has enveloped the local memory crypts in his mind as he-

“Ah” Stains of Time stares at the screen, and guilt starts to build up as he saw between who this chat is

[LIVE Broadcast] Looks to the Moon, Whispering Hope

He should close the screen and delete the file, it is wrong. Hope is a close friend, and Moon is a close friend to Hope. He should not listen…he should not-
..but his curiosity gets the better out of him. What would she tell when she talks to a different face?
He turns to the screen, start the audio and listens
……….
LttM: No, nothing new in our group
LttM:...
LttM: Well Sig proposed the ludicrous idea to Tame a vulture and even tried to do that
LttM: Long story short, it failed…badly

WH: oh by the void-

‘Vulture taming, interesting. Might open new possibilities if I can pull that of!’ he thinks

WH: how he is like that?

LttM: we all do ask that question Hope
LttM: But now please tell me what you are worrying about
LttM: is it about Hangs by a Thread?

WH: No, Thread is paranoid as ever but he still talks to me and even start to open up more
WH:....
WH: It is about Stains

Now his interest is captured. He leans closer to the screen, staying completely quiet as if they could hear him if he makes noise

LttM: oh, whats with him again?

‘Again? so they had this kind of talk in the past…interesting…what an inconvenience’

WH: I worry about him
WH: He is always working on something, His systems are almost always at their limits and he refuses to take any breaks

‘My projects are very important!’

LttM: oh…isn’t he modifying his own systems?

WH: yes but not only that
WH:I don’t know what it is but I got a bad feeling about it
WH: I told you what he did to his local crypts!

‘I think everyone knows this already, it was the most fun I had in many kilo-Cycles’

LttM: yes i remember, but didn’t you think it was him just venting his frustration?

WH: Yes and I still do. But he has changed
WH: …a lot

LttM: do tell

WH: His anger and frustration shows more and more with every conversation we have. He buries himself in his work and doesn’t respond to communications from time to time

LttM: …That reminds me of someone

WH: Ever since Sliver died he changed
Wh:....
WH: I think Sliver’s death has changed him more that I first thought

LttM: Her death has changed us all
LttM: for the worse and for the better

WH: I know! but I can’t help myself
WH: What if he went silent and disappear’s too?
WH: Or does something even more dangerous?

LttM: I think you worry too much now
LttM: Stains and I are not close but even I know his obsession about self-preservation. He will not disappear.
LttM: Just calm yourself, don’t worry and think
LttM: whatever he is doing is important to him. Just be there and try to talk to him

WH: ….

LttM: We all do share his frustration

WH: I have thought about this before…a lot
WH: I do not believe he shares the same frustration as we do!

Stains of Time looks at the screen. His face an emotionless void as he processed that.
All kinds of emotions and thoughts flow through him, but one stays.

“Oh Whispering Hope you should listen to Look to the Moon. You worry way too much, I will be fine”
His face hardens with stubborn determination
“Once my project is done there will be no need of ascension”
“No-one would want to follow…THEM”
“We should choose our own destiny!”

Well this is some text huh
Anyway I made this drawing with the first intent to try out some new eye design for Iterators and well....it got a little out of hand. The eye design here is rater simple but I like it, and it doesn't look too strange as some other attempts I had.
But I had fun drawing this, played with the holograms a little.
And I think Stains Puppet Chamber would be lightened in green

Now to the story, I tried to give some more personality and background to my boi Stains of Time, this is him Before his accident if you're wondering. And as we can see he has some stuff going on.
And I think Whispering hope would be friends with Moon. Why? because I want to....
....
....I think I ut too muc heffort in this XDD
