I know I said I was going to draw 3 more ponys and 2 more pokemon by the end of the month, but my Sakura electric eraser broke after about 3 years of frequent use
(one of those little springs that you put the battery in came off the wire). I try to use other high high quality eraser but the electric eraser has become a major tool of mine. New one should be here in 3 days
Blastoies is slow but balanced in its other stats. Wonder if we'll be seeing it alola region like in the Fire Truck we saw in the concept art
Speaking of the Alola region, I have mix feeling on hyper training. On one hand it give people like me the opportunity major tournaments. On the other hand Individual values are equivalent to genes. But it only for Level 100's and some bottlecaps, so basically every pokemon I drawn is a candidate for it
Most likely (if I choose to) train the "decent" ones in the stats their species specialized inBlastoise copyright of Nintendo

Ok, this is the one that I was telling you about before. I've always had a nice connection with Blastoise (my first Pokèmon game was Pokèmon Blue. Never even head of Green until I heard about how it was done in Japan). To be completely open and honest with you, I'm a fan of fairy and dragon types but I've only just recently heard of this hyper training that everyone seems to be talking about nowadays. I can only imagine what it's like really but it sounds truly fantastic for those that really wish to dedicate themselves to the game (not sure how to rate it for those that simply wish to beat the game and move on). The option seems nice but I can only imagine the monsters that people like you face when battling. It must be something truly mind blowing to face people without limits, even more challening the toughest boss character I imagine. Moving on from that, your Blastoise is simply superb. It caught my eye immediately and I wanted to wait until I commented on the other drawings before rolling over to this one. Everything seems to be perfectly in place and I would love to know what you used to color it. Also, I love how "small" this picture is. The head, the body and shoulders, I know that these proportions are truly correct but still, it is so lovely to see such a small image. Very aesthetically pleasing to someone like me. I love seeing this commander of hyper fluid, a water master if you will. One can only imagine the possibilities with that cannon. If I were to choose between the three starter Pokèmon, it would most likely be Blastoise as my option. Oh, forgive me, I'm talking about me a lot. Let's see here, the nose, I love how you drew the nose. Without looking at the official Blastoise picture, that seems to be the nose spot on as well as the other blocky lines. Also, the eyes, they invite the question of "what is it that he's looking at off screen?" and even greater than all of that, the beloved cannons. Yes, CANNONS! I do oh so love them. Their power and sprinkling goodness of the hydro blasts but also, just the way they're drawn in general. Something about how you drew them seems to bring them to life. You know, when I think about it, all Pokèmon just about are more so animalistic, a few robotic, but Blastoise (in your splendid choice) seems to be the only one off the top of my head that seems to be some sort of cyborg. Both animalistic and machine traits. Truly a masterpiece. Well done and great choice, Chris. Bravo!
