That is good becauseΒ the Koopalings were NEVER the problem. They were the only good new characters we got that were not non-Mario characters. I was referring to all the babies, power-up characters and Dry Bowser when I said filler characters. As well as the Mii and Dry Bones to an extent. And they probably should have kept the two villagers and Inklings in a drop menu.

I am fine with the Miis as well, but they are a "wasted" character space in MK8.

That is why I say the Mii in MK8 is filler to an extent. In my honest opinion, the Inklings really should have been Callie and Marie instead. That would at least justify the two spaces that are used...
