With the new Rock Pikmin coming to Pikmin 3, I keep asking myself βHow are they different Purple Pikmin?β There both heavy so what make them different? This is why Nintendo need to tell us more about Pokemon gen 6 and Pikmin. Even though a Purple Pikmin can carry thing with a weigh of 10, it takes longer for them to care it back to base then if 10 other color Pikmin where to carry the same thing. Anyway I hate when people try to say that there is symbolism in something without the creator saying there is. But if you guys see it as how one can overcome obstacles I be ok with that

the main thing with rock pikmin is that they son't take damage from being crushed.

i'm pretty sure you can only attack beady longlegs with yellows...
but yeah, uncrushable pikmin are a godsend.
