What is with all the Princess hate? I like the saving the girl idea, give me hope and think there better role models then today celebrities. Darn feminist ruin everthing

It seems as though that maybe those fans hate the damsel in distress characters. I never saw Zelda as ditzy though. (Then again, I've never really played Zelda games.

Yes she did get kidnapped often. That often caused much of the hate. It should've been annoyance at the frequency, but fans go overboard. :/
It was actually amplified when it was revealed that Peach can fight very well (SSBM and SSBB). In Super Princess Peach, she only had "powers" thanks to Vibe Island and the Vibe Scepter. Or else she would've used them in Smash Brothers.

I honestly like Princess Peach a lot, but one thing I don't like is that she is kidnapped in just about every game. Either she needs to get better security or Bowser needs to use his head more often XD
