I feel bad for beating up female bosses unless their really ugly
Queen Sectonia is not though
I love how the Finial level foreshadow her existence, I don't think any other Kirby game has done that before (if you don't count games that had dark matter in them)Β
Sorry if she not on a 1:1 ratio with the detail, she has no official artwork that I know of so I use a screenshot of gameplay, if I draw her again I think I will use a screenshot form a cutscene Β

I think she looks ten times better than Drawcia. Maybe an even more epic boss fight too. But I can't say for certain because I sadly haven't gotten Canvas Curse yet.
Oh! Don't forget Nightmare. When Kirby's Adventure first came out, I'm certain most players then assumed King DeDeDe was the final boss for stealing the Star Rod. I don't think anyone saw the Nightmare Wizard coming.
As for me, it was 64: they mentioned Dark Matter a lot, but we never got to fight him directly. And when I saw a certain enemy info card, I was like "wait, who is this?!"
I wasn't sure what to expect for Amazing Mirror.

As for Nightmare, he never was foreshadow of being the final boss, and if you play the last game (the very first Kirby game) one would think it would be Dedede, just being a jerk again
As for dark matter if your fighting it thought the game then your going to fight it as a finial boss (does not always have to be Zero though)
But with Sectonia you see her face all over the Royal Road even before she named or even seen. It a detail I like,Β it'sΒ effective foreshadowing.Β Unlike Castle DeDeDe having Dedede face all over it and you end up fighting Dedede as the boss in the end

Exactly what I was thinking, of course I had the power of Internet so... I'm a bad boy who got spoiled lol! XD
And that's what I thought about Dark Matter, instead we had Miracle Matter who like came out of nowhere. With that being said, his boss theme was epic! Using Kirby's powers against him is also a final boss concept I never get tired of!
You make a valid point with Sectonia too, I forgot about those walls.
But yeah, in Dedede's case, he's just a self-centered greedy slob, but he's a LOVABLE self-centered greedy slob lol
