Easily my favorite character in the game and the only useful party member against the Shadow Queen.

I don't know about that, Bombery and Koops can be used for defense, Goombella can tattle (and other stuff if leveled up), The Yoshi and Vivian are pretty powerful. but Flurrie is not that good (don't know about Ms. Mowz I was not used to her movesset

Well, Flurrie does at least have a HP stealing attack that cuts past defense and a good physical attack that can hit enemies anywhere and does have high HP, so I wouldn't say she's not so good.
Ms. Mowz could at least make enemies dizzy and steal items as well as heal Mario by 10 HP, though her only attack was like Bow's Slap and not so good against enemies with any sort of defense.
As for Vivian, she was pretty much my go-to party member for anything other then rock enemies, buzzy beetles, and fire enemies, since her Fiery Jinx was strong, hit multiple targets, and could inflict burns.

She is transgender in the original and some of the Pal parts (though I do not understand the different of what how that is different then being a male). but over here she is female, which I find works better since she is part of a group named the "Shadow Siren"

Yeah but the entire point I thought was that "she" was an outcast for betraying them or something? I don't have the best memory, I think Gaijin Goomba did a video about it.
Not that I am one to rally for trans representation, I am just a sucker for tragic characters, but again it's all opinion and an odd realization that companies feel the need to suppress things like that for "western audiences", as if it we are too childish to handle something like that, or transversely that we're so overprotective of our youth that we assume seeing someone who is different will make our kids hypnotized to be like them.
