Description This was drawn in response to a request from , who won a contest of sorts that I ran in my journal several weeks back. The prize was a drawing, of course. He requested a "cat-bird-person-thing".
I took some artistic liberties, added a dash of whimsy, and came up with the snazzy looking character shown here.

He's quite the dapper, charming, and clever fellow. He definitely has a mischievous streak, though, and is quite the prankster. I would imagine that he has the ability to perform a little majick when the situation calls for it.

With a tip of his hat and a twirl of his cane, he greets you with a wide smile and sly remark.

Nice design and the color scheme's cool too

I love his huge-happy grin, the whiskers are adorable (they made me think he wa s french for a second though ) I can just picture him doing the whole circus ringleader thing

Hey!! That's actually a neat idea! I could very easily imagine him as some sort of ringleader! Maybe in Cirque du Soleil!! That would cover the French thing and the ringleader thing all at once!!

Cirque du Soleil? You've never heard of it? It's AWESOME!!! It's basically a circus act of incredible performers (no animal acts, though): tumblers, acrobats, etc. who perform against a New-Age kind of score while wearing elaborate, (sometimes sensual) outfits. They have several traveling troupes (the latest of which is called Varekai) as well as permanent shows in Las Vegas and Orlando.

If they every come through your city or if you're ever in Vegas or Disney World, you MUST check them out. Tickets are expensive, but worth it!!

Actually, while I was drawing him, I couldn't quite decide if he was truly a bad guy or a good guy. He seems friendly enough, but that grin DOES have a touch of evil to it.

Hmm... Maybe he's a little of both. ^_^

Actually, while I was designing him, I had a more "anthro" type design in mind. Ultimately, I thought that this one might be cuter, but maybe someday I'll revisit the anthro design.
