Just trying some things out, because I need the practise and all. Not really terribly happy with this one, but I figured showing it off and being embarrassed would be better than sitting on it and keeping it to myself

I personally like this a lot. Most of your faces are rather generic-looking. Hot and all, but generic. This has some personality.

The nose is well drawn, like the rest of the pic, but to me it doesn't fit, dunno why... prolly its style differs too much from the rest.
Were you trying to merge US comic and manga style?

To be honest I don't think it's just the style. Bits of the face aren't quite in the right place, which is a bad habit I've ended up with after drawing endless "flat" manga faces for years... so now I'm trying to rectify it, but it's heavy-going sometimes and the results aren't really inspirational just yet X3

For the record, that is an awesome nose. Zoomed out it looks a bit funny and huge, but close up it looks normal. (I blame it on the zoom!)

it's not bat actually...i do some stuff like that too...it's good to practice styling your noses...it helps define certain characters besides giving those cliched,over-used triangluar-esque noses

Maybe it's just the nose that is placed too low. Too close to the mouth in other word. Or it has just too long nosebridge or something... That's what's I found it disturbing :/
Otherwise it's great piece of work. The coloring, the lineart, the shading, the angel. It's great.
