Description
Timid Nature, Infiltrator Ability, bred with a Ditto holding a Destiny Knot... In other words, this little Noibat I somehow ended up hatching is PERFECT for competitive battle.The shiny color scheme is okay I guess. It makes Noibat and Noivern look more like real bats as opposed to the black and purple. At least it's not something stupid-looking like lime green or hot pink.
Unfortunately for you, I'm not posting this to give it away. I'm posting it so I can gloat, wihch is a real shame since I don't usually care about shinies.

I've also noticed that the Noibat/Noivern pokemon resemble real bats the most (Zubat and his evolutions are a little closer than Gliscor or Wubat, but not by much).

That's okay. I'm more surprised by the remake than I am excited, but I'll play it and judge it for myself. All I can say is that they BETTER keep that Wynaut egg you get in Lavaridge Town.

Neither of Swampert or Sceptile needs one in terms of power and usability. Blaziken was bad enough before it got a Mega Evolution, so it was pretty unnecessary. I'd prefer Mega Evolutions for Pokemon that are underpowered, not as popular, have potential and could actually benefit. Like they did with Pinsir, Kangaskhan, Medicham etc. I'm not sure what they could do to make Groudon or Kyogre any bettter (especially since the only Pokemon stronger than either of them are Slaking and Regigigas), but the covers look like they either just glow now or get some new form that glows.Β

I guess the odds were decently high of it happening, since I was breeding a Timid French Noibat I got in a Wonder Trade with my English Ditto. I even got this little guy on the first egg, believe it or not.

Wow...and somehow my shinies tend to have some of the worst natures and no more than 2 perfect IVs.

This is the FIRST Shiny Pokemon I actually plan to keep for myself indefinitely. If I didn't like the color, I'd probably abuse the heck out of its rarity and see how many desperate shiny hunters would try to get their hands on it, especially now that I've made it contract Pokerus.

Yep, there are people who trade them for other shinies or sometimes points. Noibat is cool, though; Game Freak was generous with just about all the Gen 6 shiny forms.

I'm thinking about trading this Noivern away for a shiny competitive Tyrunt since I like the blue color of Tyrunt and Tyrantrum.
