Description
I got the inspiration for this render from the Sci Fi Pulp magazine picture displayed within it. I thought it would somehow look a little more to the viewer's taste if I switched the gender of the Giant to a Giantess.I just love those old artistic drawings though and can't get enough of them obviously. It seems that with the modern comic style so much is lost to the infusion of anime and other styles that make the scenes look like a spilled plate of spaghetti and meatballs with the prime characters and ideas lost in the noise. I wish comics would return to a direct approach as was done in Golden and Silver age comic-mags. I think that some artists are catching on to what was lost as of late and are trying to return to that better medium of representation and have hope that the old style will some day rule the visual spectrum of what is available to the general public once again. We can only hope I suppose.

DrCreep - great job! Love the shrunken-woman in the glass bottle - she looks super sexy, and to add a giantess - outstanding! Would be fun to see the shrunken beauty if the glass bottle is lifted up - the shock and amazement of her new size! You have outstanding talent - really enjoy the giantess and shrunken-woman themes!

I could do one like that. I'll try and post it next Sunday for you.
If I forget, just remind me. I forget a lot of things these days. He, he.

Why does your giant look SO mean? Almost non-human.

I agree with all that you said above. (And I've been saying it for a while now.)
Anime is (was) hot for a while, so newer art and animation feels that will sell better to a younger audience (Teen Titans vs Teen Titans Go).
But even BEFORE that, there was an "anti Disney" push in the art world. Disney, the old (Buggy's Bunny) WB and Hanna Barbara all had really clean lines. Young artist not hired by Disney, when anti-Disney in there look and made things like RugRats. That was the beginning of badimation.

I still maintain that they tried to fix something that wasn't broken. The new younger audience simply didn't know any better and could have been steered better than they've been.

I agree with you about the comics. Just a more realistic feel to them. Love that you changed it to Giantess.

I hope they come back with lots of Twilight Zone and size difference spirit in them. They have a realistic feel to them. Maybe they will inspire good movies and series too.

They've been doing some TZ stuff lately to be fair. I'll keep my eyes open.
