Playing around with Koi again. A quick piece and the coloring is kind of sloppy, but I like it non the less.Related content

This is such a dynamic and lively drawing! I love the way the water looks and how nicely detailed some parts of the koi fish are. Lovely work!

At least you get the fish anatomy right... yeah, the colours are a little bit messed up (more shine on the koi fish), I guess the fish-jumping-outta-water dynamics is there...

The nice thing about this piece is it looks great as a thumbnail, too!
The coloring is perfect for it, with two possible exceptions: I think a background tone would really "punch it up." Highlights on the pearl would give it a shine but too much would distract from the gorgeous fish and water. I love the motion and color choices on this piece!
