This is my rough sketch for challenge in Chris Sanders style.This is only a quick pen sketch of my idea and I would love to have some honest feed back....

This is a really cute pic! The only thing I'd say is that Chris puts his facial features waaaay far down the head. The same with critters, and he puts their eyes pretty much on the sides. I found his Dream Catcher piece really helpful for the creatures ^_^

You might want to watch the shape at the back of the head, and how the hair attaches. Looking at Chris's stuff there seems to be a tight following to a spherical cranium.
Face is spot on.
The cat's paw is diving a bit more into your style...might I suggest checking out [link]
He's got a very definite way of gesturing paws...I failed at it but you'll prolly do much better. You seem to have the groove of this one fairly well.
