Description
When I first designed this character, I had zero idea of how to redesign her. Her classic costumes just look like a knock off batgirl from an independent comic company and not a DC superhero. All the modern designs for her aren't that creative either and usually just give her a trench coat and that's it. And I was one of those people. I even hated my design when I posted it and debated many times whether to take it down or not. I decided to leave it up as a comparison and to show how far my style has come. I got the inspiration for this after seeing some Birds of Prey Huntress concept designs (which I'm really disappointed they didn't use any of them) that were pretty good. I saw one close up of the mask that had lenses that slid up to make the iconic Huntress mask which I thought was really cool. Instead of the trench coat, I made a kevlar type suit with a hood and long coat lower half. I think this style makes more sense for what kind of character she is. It's the crime fighting vigilante, it's Huntress!
