One of the most recognizable and widely debated cryptid in North America, this creature has been spotted and even tracked down by enthusiasts from all over the world. Many theories question whether the creature truly exists due to its evasive nature and even more theories about its origin. Nicknamed "Big Foot" after the large sized foot prints it leaves behind, this creature is believed to be the prehistoric giant ape "Gigantopithecus" or possiblly some sort of extinct hominidae. Regardless of its origins, it takes the form of a giant ape-like creature and most likely shares a similar diet and behaviors of one. They are surprisingly quick and agile for its size. Sightings have reported the creature to be anywhere from 7 ft to 12 ft in height and anywhere from 500 to 1000 lbs.
