I can't walk very long without feeling short of breath. I can't stand up fast without fainting. I can't hold a conversation for very long, it's getting hard to focus. I'm cold all the time and my stomach aches. The ghost's in my head won't leave me alone and it's getting hard to smile. They say I'll die but I've come to a point where I don't mind.Is this Perfection?
I don't have a scanner so the quality is'nt very good, sorry.
I don't have anorexia but a dear friend of mine is fighting it so I did this pic after seeing here once when she was worse the usuall.

This is sad. :/ My fiance has anorexia, and is probably at...89 pounds currently. Or maybe less, since he's dying. :/ He's 21 years old, and sometimes, he has been almost to 79 pounds. He thinks he's fat. So bad, that he has almost cut the "fat" out of his own body. After crying and begging enough, he stopped. He had only made a few deep cuts on his thighs. He also does 100 sit ups and push ups per day. I keep telling him that he is beautiful and skinny, but he never listens. He always thinks he is fat, no matter what. He says he has fat thighs, fat buttocks, and fat lips. I feel as if I can't help him, because I can't help myself overcome bulimia, and he refuses to go to rehab. He tells me he can fix himself, when he really can't. Help.

I'm sorry to hear what your going thru, anorexia and bulimia are both terrible diseases and the combination of the two rarely makes it easier. I'm not a psychologist and I don't have any answers really but I do know these diseases does'nt just pass. In sweden (where I live) you can have someone comitted against there will, it's not a cure but it's a way to at least keep someone from hurting themselves more. There are good treatments against anorexia and bulimia but I know theyre hard to find and even harder to finance. I'm guessing you allready know this but bulimia is more dangerous then anorexia. More people die from bulimia then anorexia... I'm not trying to be rude or judgemental, just trying to plant a seed of some kind... I really, really hope that both you and your fiance get the help you need. Life is painfull at times but it's not suppose to hurt like that.

This is great.
My boyfriend has an eating disorder, and he's thin as hell. Still thinks he's fat. I can't seem to help him. He doesn't want professional help and says he's completely okay.
I love the strength of the message

I hope you boyfriend gets the help he needs, anorexia is a serious illness and sometimes what you want and what you need is'nt the same. I really do hope that your boyfriend realizes how serious this illness is. My friend did, she got help and is soing much better now. She still struggles but she's doing good.

Yeah, his mother and I have been on the phone many times, just talking about what to do. It's a long distance relationship, that's why I've been calling with his mother so many times.

she's doing alot better now actually, she's eating, living and breathing all at the same time and I'm there for every step. Thank you so much for your thoughts, they mean alot.

It even hurts to sit down for anorexia patients because there's no flesh in the bottom, and sitting on your tailbone hurts.
Really. This is the reason why I want bigger women to be models too. So that other females can feel confident and more sure about themselves. I had myself starving for a week and finally my mind spoke ''What the HELL are you doing? Eat A sandwich or you'll fall over!''

I know. At the time when I did this picture my friend could'nt sit anywhere for very long cause it hurt. She sat on my lap once because we were driving somewhere and the whole drive I could feel her bones cutting in to my legs. I'm glad to hear you liked the text, it is directly taken from real life experiences with my friend. We used to walk for hours and sit on her balcony and talk about everything. At this point she could hardly stand up without fainting and the longest conversations we had lasted for about 15 minutes at most.
So thank you for your comment, it really makes me glad it affected you. I'm glad you came to your senses before Anorexia got a hold of you.
