Description
I've never actually given much thought as to who my favorite Pokemon are. So last week I wrote a list.
I went through a few and these are the ones I came up with that are my all time favorite Pokemon of each type. This includes Gen 7 Pokemon.

BUG
Ariados- I don't know what it is but ever since I seen Ariados, I've thought it was the coolest bug pokemon. I'm not fond of spiders but, Ariados is too cool.
DARK
Umberon-Ahh, Umberon. My story about Umbreon isn't even about the games. It was from a toy fox I had. Gen 2 had been out for a while and I saw Umberon. I love black cats, that's part of it but this toy fox I had, I painted with a sharpie and made it look like Umberon. I played with that thing for years, and to this day is one of my fondest childhood memories. I still have that sharpied fox toy.
DRAGON
Mega Rayquaza- I love Gen 3, Rayquaza was like the first dragon pokemon to look like a fearsome dragon and I love him. But then his Mega happened and he became 70% more awesome.
ELECTRIC
Xuritree- The newest games introduced Ultra Beats and Xuritree is my favorite out of them all. I love how it's literally wire and twist ties. So cool.
FAIRY
Primarina- My starter was gonna be Litten but I loved Primarina so much. When they announced Primarina I was in a mermaid faze. I was writing mermaid stories and my main character was a male merfish-person named Avisa. So it was just right to name my male Primarina Avisa.
FIGHTING
Infernape- Infernape is my favorite Gen 4 starter. Fire monkey Khan. I always think of Ron Stoppable and Monkey Khan from the Archie Comics. He was so cool.
FIRE
Typhlosion- Actually I loved Quilava the longest but just recently I've grown fond of his next form. I love how it's like a dinosaur-like ferret. Very cool.
FLYING
Yveltal-I thought it was a dragon until it opened it's beak. And it's Shiny form; words cannot express.
GHOST
Mega Banette-The Mega that wasn't the most fabulous, but one of the most terrifying. I love Shuppet and Banette cause Gen 3 is my fav, and then Mega Banette happened.
GRASS
Sky Forme Shaymin- Saw him in the movie and thought it was the cutest thing ever. The first hedgeghog pokemon and the cutest. I love Skymin^^
GROUND
Flygon- It's Flygon. Do ya need a reason?
ICE
Weavile- Ahhh Weavile. Sneasle and Umberon were my top two favorite Pokemon while running through Gen 2 and they still are. But then Gen 4 happened and Weavile is even better than Sneasle.
NORMAL
Silvally- I really liked Silvally's design, but the theories behind it before the games came out was what caused me to think he was the greatest Normal type. Even though he's not all that epic, he's still cool to look at.
POISON
Dragalge-My first time catching a Skrelp I didn't know what it would evolve into but when it did. I was amazed. It instantly became my favorite poison type of all time.
PSYCHIC
Lugia- Lugia is super simpy in his design but he's so majestic and powerful looking and I've always thought he was my favorite legendary. Then Pokemon Colosseum came out with Shadow Lugia and that's also epic.
ROCK
Lycanroc-I actually got a Lycanroc in the beginning of my playthrough of Moon so it grew with my team. It was a pretty cool rock type.
STEEL
Scizor- Scizor! Think back, the movie Pokemon 4Ever. Scizor was so cool in Gen 2 and that's always stuck with me.
WATER
Swampert- I Liek MUDKIPS!!! But I LOVE Swamperts!
