Description The date of this screenie is 9.5.2014.

Now, my beloved stalkers, watchers and friends, meet my little brainchild that had appeared once in my dreams with Martim Septim-like Imperial and had said "I am the Nerevarine!" while battling a some sort of mix between Dagoth Ur and Mehrunes Dagon (or at least I think he was) together with the Imperial. She will be one of the misunderstood that will change the views of everyone she meets and talks with and will forever mark herself as "the Unusual Beast".

Meet my official first character to walk the island of Vvardenfell!

INFO ABOUT THE CHARACTER:
Name: Me-Zharta
Gender: Female
Race: Argonian
Class: Agent
Birthsign: The Ritual
Preference Skills: Short Blade, Light Armor, Speechcraft, Mercantile, Acrobatics

Bio: The place she can remotely call home was a small Argonian village near the city of  Stormhold, where her hatch-parents had taken care in her first years after she had hatched (rumored). Even before she consumed the first dose of Hist Sap on her Naming Day, she had a delicate smile and big eyes that had made her look really young and curious. Her first years were taken care of by her biological parents, being carefully raised as their priceless jewel and being overall loved, swiftly learning to talk Jel at first and being allowed to pick delicate clothing she saw as cutesy when she reached her 3rd year.
But all this happiness didn`t last forever. One fateful day when she was between 6 and 7 years old, the door to her family`s house busted open and a squadron of about 6 "big ash-skinned red-eyed creepy-voiced people" (by her claims) came. Her father had put a fight with them while her mother tried to run in the basement with her and hide, but at the end both her father and her mother were taken away by them, leaving her the sole survivor of this, as she hid herself inside the old pendulum clock that her family had in the basement. After the attack, she was deathly afraid that she would be taken as well with those "black scary big-eared people", thus preventing herself from exiting the house, but once she was able to gain enough courage to come out, she was sneaking all around the village and frequently hiding behind or inside stuff, eating almost everything she could get her hands on and trying to either hide or disguise (if hiding was not an option) herself as much as possible from other residents of the village. Her friends tried to comfort her, but she had pushed them aside and thus as a consequence she got alone soon.
Her misery was not bound to last though. Once she was hiding inside a big barrel in order to avoid being seen, she soon felt movement around her, as the barrel she was hiding in got picked up and loaded onto something she didn`t knew. She kept it quiet for about a day, but after it she carefully opened the lid and looked around.
She had found herself in Stormhold, big and lively settlement, mostly inhabited by Argonians, but here and there she could see distant Dunmer that were dealing in plantations and slave trade, which had prompted her to live as a street rat, hiding away from others and trying to survive as much as she could (this includes stealing as well). However after one mere week has passed, other Argonian residents started to take notice on her and as a consequence, she was found by them a day later. They clearly intended her to be offered as a slave to various Dunmer traders, but her dread and her pleading of them in Jel to not get her to the slave traders, as at the end, every single Argonian would end up as her mother and father did (according to her) had convicted them to hide her in a crate and load it to the caravan that was going toward Cyrodiil, adding a mysterious note that was written in Tamrielic onto the crate.
Cyrodiil is where her second life began, once she literally got delivered in a crate to the Argonian female that was acquainted in Imperial ways and was known as a reliable trader around the town. In her care, she gradually got rid of her timidness for the most part and when reaching 10 years, she began to train herself in various skills, mostly her social skills she practiced with other people, even though she tended to be rather blunt and honest most of the time, beside being "strange", which didn`t intrigue others much. It would take her 4 years to learn Tamrielic and 2 extra years to get herself in investing her skills in some weaponry and being used in Light and Medium Armor after she got attacked by a pair of bandits and being forced to drop the goodies she had in order to avoid death.
Her bluntness, dead honesty, reckless persuasion and being too much on her high horse (as she wasn`t afraid of other races except Dunmer at that time) had finally taken a toe on her when she insulted an Imperial Legion Officer in civil clothing while offering him 3 bottles of something suspicious and a clearly-spoiled meal, thus causing the house of her Argonian hostess to be raided, just to find Skooma, Moon Sugar and rotting flesh of what appeared to be local dogs and horses. Their punishment was hard - her Argonian hostess had to pay a massive fine and, as a consequence, allowed the Legion to take the young, only 17-year-old Me-Zharta out of her sight while Me-Zharta herself was arrested. At the Office, when questioned about the counterfeit and telling her that they would shorten her imprisonment if she tells them, she easily broke and admitted that she was an agent for a local Khajiit drug exchange and had mentioned who had given her the drug, thus allowing herself to spend her imprisonment for shorter time, but, at the same time, making foes with the contact.
Her imprisonment was remarkably short-lived though, when, for some mysterious reason, she was forced to get out of her cell when she reached her 20th year, being put in chains and taken to a boat that would take her together with a mysterious Dunmer prisoner she would later befriend to the island of Vvardenfell, her place of nightmares and where, unknowingly, she would change the world ...

Some interesting stuff:
-> Agent as a class is merely a cover for her to be in good terms with Imperials that had taken her to the island. Of course the consequence of this action is that now seemingly everyone on the island suspect her to be an Agent.

-> She classifies other residents of the island as "Good", "Bad", "Indifferent", "Hated", "Weirdos" and "Feared", the Feared being Ordinators, Assassins and Vampires. However, there are some Ordinators that are not her Feared now ...

-> Even if she got rid of most of her timidness earlier, the prison sentence had made it come back for a moderate time, thus she doesn`t discuss all topics with people and even if she discusses with people it`s bound that she would retreat away from them once done, especially if they`re Dunmer, unless she sees them as friends, Good or Indifferent.

-> Whoever needs a hand or there is a job application, she will get into, even though she HATES offers that force her to do harm to others or even kill them without them attacking her first or obliging/literally taunting her to get killed, like Council Club racists. Or betraying them/stealing their stuff/both, thus Nileno, one of her Hlaalu contracts, is Hated. Subtle, though.

-> Her opinion on religions and their related prophecies is indifferent, but herself she doesn`t wish to have any connections with them. This includes the Nerevarine prophecy. Until she got her first nightmares and Sleepers start to stalk her while Cosades expressed her that he thinks she might have been the Nerevarine, that made her rethink about all this and as a consequence, she joined the Imperial Cult, where she had gotten more info on Mara, the goddess that had blessed her with power to heal herself once a day. And since she peeked foot into a 6th House base called Hassour, seeing the Ash Zombies, hearing their pleas and managing to vanquish her 1st Ash Ghoul~ yeeeaaahhhh.

-> Any person that flirts with her or has blush-inducing requests/pet names (for her) or is just seen to be quite a weirdo himself/herself is classified as a Weirdo. Like Crassius Curio and, believe me or not, a male gondolier in Vivec and Serjo Avon Oran, for all wrong reasons - the gondolier had called her "love" and Serjo Avon Oran had told her to "join him". Awkward!!

-> She tends to collect ingredients and crawling around swampland in her armor, as well as selling stuff at lower price when she spots that the trader (or anyone that she bargains) doesn`t have enough money. Or is one of her best pals (like Ralen Tilvur).

-> Her least favorite drink is Sujamma - it is bitter for her and makes her go into animalistic berserk mode that could only be waited to wear off, often leaving her feeling like the biggest fool on the island. Still, she keeps a bottle for "animalistic battles".

-> She doesn`t wish to have her robe(s) destroyed by filth and blood, but together she doesn`t wish to be seen as an animal. Thus occasionally some might spot her cleaning her feet and dulling her claws at river banks or bathing with her clothes on. Especially since one of Mages` Guild female sorcerers had told her if she minds to clean her feet before she enters. You can believe how much was she ashamed x3

-> With the help of Sharn gra-Muzgob, she got to know an Ancestor Ghost of Samarys family that she is able to summon now. However, this ghost is a big coward, a massive troll and prankster to her and hates to be summoned by an outlander just to assist him/her, thus she mostly does not reserve to him as a helper. Unless one of his descendants had gone into the 6th House and turned into an Ascended Sleeper~

-> Her best "weapon" in her arsenal (that she considers a sort of a nuke) is a Ring of Toxic Cloud, a small enchanted ring with a massive poisonous bite. In magical areas she is versatile in Conjuration and Illusion, but bad in all other magical schools, which reserves her for using scrolls in order to, well, capture souls for her Enchanter friends, raise Hell, heal herself ... (beside potions).

Hope you manage to read all that

Finally got the time to read this and comment:
Interesting character you have there and spent time on doing her story, can guess you have put down a lot of time into this and playing the game.
Hmm social skills is overrated, prefer those who just say what they want and feel and be themself Hmm wonder what she would call me, bet a weirdo xD

Hmm besides collecting ingredients there were not much info what she like to do in life? :/

Sorry for the entire story of this character!
Heh, thank you! At least for me it`s important for a character to have a story, so that she differentiates from other characters both in the game and which other people had made (which, I think, is now over 200 of them in just growing) and to, of course, take it into account when playing the game as this specific character (or as other people call it, RP-aspects of the game), like which skills should she master, which ones would remain horrible on her, diet, sleep, reading hours, all those kinds of stuff.
Hehe, indeed, but in the world where she is, there needs to be some degree of adaptation as well, even in social skills because she is already an outlander and the locals don`t look lightly at outlanders, haha xD I bet that if she would try to give an etiquette to you, she would be confused because you would be between Indifferent and Good, with a little bit of Feared as well. Feared because of ... well, you are JD and a bit too freakishly similar to the old Dunmer in Pelagiad at that! LOL

This is the part that will be dictated during the course of the game, thus I had left it open

Thanks. And yeah, I don`t know much about that myself, I was just relying on an assurance that many Argonians in later games (like Skyrim) call your Argonian "egg-brother/egg-sister". So yeah~

OniVrask In reply to Dreamer-In-Shadows [2014-05-10 17:42:34 +0000 UTC]

Could just be a phrase, but I read on the wiki that they don't lay eggs, so I'm just going by that. It seems believable as some snakes and reptiles give birth to live young so either possibility is viable.

Hyea. At least until developers tell us what is canon. but for now, headcanons.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

OniVrask In reply to Dreamer-In-Shadows [2014-05-10 18:54:36 +0000 UTC]

headcanons?

That is true, but something tells me Argonians calling other argonians egg brother, is along the same line as Khajiit greeting other khajiit with the "Warm sands friend" greeting, it's a term they use with each other probibly.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Dreamer-In-Shadows In reply to OniVrask [2014-05-10 19:27:45 +0000 UTC]

Basically something equivalent to "fanon" aka "canon by fans", which is completely different kind of "fan-made". Internet rules are headcanons, for example - and in most cases it`s much much wider than fads or memes. Hyea, from my own experiences, since I had seen headcanons blossom under the influence of a little game called Off, with being its creator.

Oh well, it still leaves much to discussion, so yeah, I`m gonna remain with the ship. Only where did you heard of that term?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

OniVrask In reply to Dreamer-In-Shadows [2014-05-12 20:53:50 +0000 UTC]

what Warm Sands Friend? I've heard it in Skyrim, only when talking to the Khajiit Caravans and only when using a khajiit character.

Ah okay that makes sense just never heard that term before, so I did not know what it meant.

Dreamer-In-Shadows In reply to OniVrask [2014-05-12 22:07:03 +0000 UTC]

Heh, typical. You gotta love greetings from your racial bros and sisters x3

Say, apparently, according to Scouts-Many-Marshes, an Argonian you can meet in Skyrim, he apparently arrived in Windhelm "as a hatchling". New perspective! ;D

OniVrask In reply to Dreamer-In-Shadows [2014-05-13 16:03:09 +0000 UTC]

Who knows rather Argonians lay eggs or they don't, I'm just going by what I read.

Argonians and Khajiit seem to be the only ones that regularly use such greetings, the other races don't.

There is a Skall that can be married, if you live in Falkreath hold at least, also one of the nords in Thirsk Mead Hall if you help them take it back and you help the bloke get ore supplies. But yeah, there is the Dunmer at the College of Winterhold or Fethis of the Companions.

I cannot say that I`m surprised, really. But believe me, you are missing so much stuff you can only see in Morrowind, no matter if the game is literally a penis toward you.
Why penis?
Because it`s long and hard - just like a penis.

Do the merchants give you discounts due to the power of friendship? My wife in Skyrim sells weapons, and I don't know if she discounts me. xD

It helps I suppose that the Lusty Argonian Maid... wait, why am I thinking of her now?

Dreamer-In-Shadows In reply to IsangKapatid [2014-04-29 14:22:46 +0000 UTC]

Indeed, or so I`ve been told. Once you max their disposition through the power of bribes and/or Speechcraft, then you can apparently barter them into really (for your character) beneficial trades. Only rule - don`t get too cocky unless your Mercantile is really really high.

Funny because she has the first copy of it that had ever appeared in TES games in her inventory, Crassius Curio had given it to her for free

Ah, the Speech skill. Awesome. I've never really used it myself much during my Skyrim runs; I usually find good stuff out in the wild or I usually have enough gold to get what I need at the moment. :3 I needs to play Morrowind though.

Ah. I think when I read Miss Lusty's story/book over at Skyrim, I thought: "...This is rather descriptive. Are you really talking about bread now? What oven- oh, oh wait I got it, I just got what you are talking about."

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Dreamer-In-Shadows In reply to IsangKapatid [2014-04-29 17:17:00 +0000 UTC]

Can believe. It seems that Skyrim goes easy on you, but unlike this game, it`s absolutely IMPERATIVE to have at least 35 Speechcraft in Morrowind, as else all these grumpy Dunmer will hate you even more than they already do. Heck, last time I checked the Disposition on a random Ordinator, he had 33 Disposition toward my poor little Argonian character, even though she had 37 Speechcraft and 40 Personality. I cannot even IMAGINE how much Disposition would these gilded bastards have toward anyone that does not have that much Speechcraft + Personality.

LOL! The infamous continuation of it xD Morrowind only has the spear-bit, but it seems to be narrative enough already. And believe me, Crassius himself actually called my character "my little sweetroll".

Oh my gosh, now that is awkward to imagine. But honestly, I was the same when playing Age of Empires series, Heroes of Might and Magic III and Might and Magic VI, VII and VIII, so I don`t blame you. Your character must have been in so much Trouble with a capital T ... .
"My" Morrowind (it`s actually my bro`s) only works because it`s on Steam.
