inspired by this one tumblr post

I'm so in love with these two ;u;

I plan on playing both of them in a dnd game at some point: au where al didn't in fact survive the hunting accident, but some kind of crazy magic overwhelms emil - perhaps an ancestor or two feeling his pain so much that they temporarily assist with the powerful spell - and he manages to pull off a soul-binding spell where he merges alastair's soul with his own, so he basically has him living in his head, talking to (and arguing with) him nonstop all the time haha (aka "if you don't shut up I WILL blast despacito and we will both suffer >8I)
I have some tidbits to read here if anyone's interested, of the beginning bit before they set off, a few funny moments as they get accustomed to sharing a bod now, and a possible moment of either emil finding a way to restore his brother's body to him fma-style or eventually passing on himself and getting to see him again :')
plan on him bein' a ranger utilizing both his hunting spear as well as spirit magic, I think :3c
and I love that pretty much everything I've drawn for them is still canon to the dnd-verse au too x'D since they're modern but spend so much time just hangin out in the wilderness thar
(just gotta figure out if I'll dump his transition happenings under an "eh, magic" or something haha)

... this isn't even fully related to this art, I just always have to get all my ideas out there asap but I don't know if/when I'll have a suitable full art to dump this all under instead lol

ps I'm never not gonna miss being able to shamefully hide certain text under sub or striked text, or revising my words under the preview button ;((
