I met this fellow in 2013 after marathoning a ton of anime, then redrew him a few years after and boi did he change from who I thought he was lol
he's kind of a dick honestly but I love him l'D

Renji lives in a desert city somewhere in Egypt or the Middle East hundreds of years ago, where he lives off thievery and cunning. he was left at an orphanage before he could remember, and left it when he was around 7-8 to take to the streets (this was partially driven by his caretakers' refusal to respect his gender: it got so bad he decided he'd be better off fending for himself than dealing with that shit). he's a proud loner and has no family or friends, nor does he care to. as he is poorly socialized, he is not easy to get along with, and is the type of guy to make dick jokes at inappropriate times. he's also very aggressive and hot-headed, and has physically attacked people who have purposely misgendered him.

he's quite a skilled bandit and fighter, and has almost never been caught. despite his lifestyle, he does have a code of morals and will never take from those with less than him. he enjoys pickpocketing rich people, and is adept at using his tail to loot as well. his inventory generally includes homemade smoke bombs, assorted toxins, and multiple daggers.

his clothing is rather old and worn but he prefers to fix it up than acquire or make new ones (I'm pretty sure he's had that cape for like a decade). he also wears an extra shirt under his layers to help hide his boobs.

I don't know what his orientation is, cause he doesn't like to talk about it, nor do I know his birthday as neither does he. he never learned to read, is probably dyslexic (and maybe autistic), his favourite colour is red and he likes spicy food.

despite all his aggression and emotional distance, if you give him any food he'll soften up a bit around you and be nicer lol
