Made as a sequel to my fall fairy drawing

I really wanted to go with a misty morning feel, sort of the cool , crisp spring mornings, winter going away and a hint of warmth breaking through.
This was actually more difficult than i expected, it was the first time Ive been over halfway through a drawing and decided to scrap most of it and redraw it o.o it was worth it though!

I may have to adjust the colors? they look completely different on my laptop than on my tablet :S hmm..

Purple is not my favourite colour, but here the various shades look beautiful togeher ^^. I also like the light effects!

Life's tough xP Well, as for me, as soon as the oral parts of the graduation exams are done, I'm planning to spend a lot of time drawing and being online and active on DA so that I can finally have my peace in my soul back :'D

I had actually planned on a winter fairy but got too busy to draw one this past season (im not kidding about school keeping my busy!)

Lovely job! What flowers did you model - they look like camellias(?) and tulips. I like the way her outfit picks up the structure of the flowers as well as the colours...

Some of the ones I looked at were crocuses, tulips, and geraniums (and a couple camellias i believe at some point...)

It turned out beautifully! Really digging the vibrant colors and the gradient on her dress looks so nice! The bed of flowers reaching through the forest is real magical too <3 The changes were indeed worth it!
