Well, not that long. In the comics he has the life span of a normal raccoon. But though his time is short, he makes a HUGE impression.

I admit I didn't think rocket and groot would fit but I ended up liking them (especially rocket) more then everyone else, I love how realistic the wood looks and the details of the fur
