First bit of event art for the current havoc occurring in Tora.
Omnis are pretty OP with their regenerating abilities and inability to be killed with any sort of magic/weapon the people of Tora currently possess, however, they do have a few weaknesses that can be exploited.

They cannot cross water, which I do believe means that they are unable to swim for some reason, and that fire is pretty effective on them, which I can only imagine means they fear pain since they can't be killed by it.
Both very helpful pieces of information that the students can take advantage of. If anything, having a desire to avoid feeling pain is a good indication that these creatures can actually be beaten back and that winning against them is very possible if handled right.

This here depicts Wyatt and Annabelle making adequate use Yarlet's moat.
Their plan is to herd an Omni with fire and then force it over the edge and into the water. I doubt the thing will drown, but the steep and high sides of the cliff and castle walls will help keep it from climbing out. With any luck, it will be stuck in the moat out of action until a later time when things have calmed down, where the Omni can then be dealt with properly and transported back over the wall.

Annabelle and Wyatt are both proficient fire users and have no problem controlling the flames to do what they want, so I imagine they will be using fire quite a bit in managing and controlling the movements of whatever Omni they come across.
Annabelle herself has taken to blinding Omnis when and where she can. Either the wounds can't regenerate until the arrow is dislodged from its eye or it will regenerate while the arrow is still stuck. Either way, vision capabilities are cut down severely and will make the beast much easier to handle.

And in case you are wondering about the red music notes, Wyatt's magic is more inclined to support and defense, so at the very least those things will help protect them from long range attacks.
They are capable of doing more than that I believe, but at least they won't have to worry about getting corrupted by Omni spit being flung at them.
