Description
Here we have a badger, North American style! I got to draw him in a cave, which allowed me to indulge in fantasies of spelunking prowess. It was a fun setting to work in, especially with the dim lighting generating a nice atmospheric effect. This is a good start, but I want to get better at illustrating cave settings. Real caverns are already furnished with luxurious formations, so using that as a springboard for fantasy illustrations should yield exceptionally fun results. Cor. Fun pose and expression there, and its a badger, so what's not to love? Everything comes together from those workboots to the miner cap. Just seems like something I'd like to hang in my room 'cause it makes me snicker inside.

Holy badger O_o that's.. incredible... as usual
hehe I think I'm most surprised by the fact that the first thing you care to mention is that you need to get better at caves. In my head I'm going "but .... it's perfect..." so I can just imagine what kind of wonders you'll come up with, later in time
Oh and sorry I haven't replied to that email yet. I've been out of it for a while and college just started as well >< I'll get to it soon though.

It's amazing. I love the shading that you do . . . but it kinda looks like you used the burn tool for this one?
I probably asked this question about a hunfred times already but I never get bored of hearing a good explanation. 8D
