Something that turned out to be a little more than a simple watercolour piece (I couldn’t stop inking!) for Jim *ShoJoJim who was the winner of the ‘Tasty Cover’ design competition.Jim asked for something featuring the ‘happy razors’ that appeared in one of the Sweeney Todd conceptual uploads, so I obliged, and left the task of choosing one of his characters up to me. His raccoon character Stevie seemed the obvious choice, so I went for something different; one of his pirate characters, the wonderful Cappin Biscuit! I don’t think he’s very happy to find himself in the midst of all this madness…
Btw, I’m sorry to say that my scanner completely and utterly messed up the colours… again. It’s becoming the norm where the scanning of my traditional pieces are concerned. In reality this is not so starkly yellow!

Funny thing is, the straight razor provides a much closer, smoother, less bleedy shave than the safety razors! Mrah, if only I could grow a beard so I could use one too.

That's exactly how I feel! Like my card picture, a lot of purple mysteriously disappeared. Grrr. But I still have to have it...man, if I didn't know any better I'd say Scanners are drugs.
