I completelyΒ agree with this, I mean you have to think pretty highly of yourself to think a bisexual or homosexual person will lust over you.

So true. I've known that I like girls and boys both since I was 11, and was open about it with the girls from my class. They didn't care about it, but when we were 13 one of the girls asked me if I still were bisexual in front of some girls from our gym class. I of course ansrewed yes, not wanting to hide it. Suddenly the whole school tought I was some kind of a pervert who checks girls out on gym class. Nowadays I consider myself as pansexual, but I haven't told about it to anyone except my good friends. I don't want people to think I have hots for them when obviosly I don't.

So true. When I first came out to my parents (which I'm VERY fortunate that they were fine with it), for a while they wouldn't let me have sleepovers with ANY of my friends. They thought I was going to do things with them -_- Hell, I'm not even interested in dating or love right now, i just happen to know I like girls and boys

Yes! I am so tired of getting weird looks in the locker room that I just wait for everyone to be done before I go talk to people. They think I'm like staring at their boobs or something pervish like that. I have a girlfriend. Get over it!

its rediculous how people assume that because someone's bi, they instantly have the hots for anything with a pulse within a hundred miles. i understand why people might feel a little uncomfortable at the thought, but if they took a moment to think things through they'd realise what a stupid assumption it really is.

in all honesty i got off pretty lucky with my "coming out" experience. one of my closest, more outspoken friends was the first to take the plunge. when everyone appeared to be cool with it, another close friend revealed that they were bi, and i decided to make it a triple coming out. it was hilarious to see the chain raction one person set off, all in the space of one day. there are now three bisexuals in my group of friends, and i haven't lost a single one of them because of it. we're all just as close as we were before, and joke about being liking boys and girls all the time without it being awkward.

Heh, well said. My friend often jokes about me flirting with him/making out with him, just due to my bisexuality. It doesn't really bother me, but it's definitely worth noting that just because I'm a bisexual doesn't mean I want to have sex with EVERYONE.

I know. It's so annoying. One of my friends who I told I'm bi kept making jokes how I wanna kiss her & stuff...um NO. I don't see you like that -_- Not everyone else who knows though treats me like that (not a lot of them do yet. Only my sister & a couple close friends I trust).

So I love this stamp. lol

I'm lucky. My best friend understood that I was NOT lusting after her because we're like sisters. But people do tend to think I have crushes on them and I'm like "Uh wait, WHO ARE YOU??" haha It's ridiculous. Not just girls though, and actually it's mainly guys. I think a lot of people are under the impression that bi people are promiscuous and want to do everyone >_<

TomodachiOtaku In reply to TeenieAmerica [2010-11-21 19:49:50 +0000 UTC]

Lucky! My best (female) friend perfectly understood because she is bi too. Hehe, really? xD That doesnt quite happen to me... People here tend to say such things playfully which has lead to me having 6 fictional relationships with straight girls. Friendshiply, of course. It rather makes me feel bad

TeenieAmerica In reply to TomodachiOtaku [2010-11-23 20:24:51 +0000 UTC]

Yup, I'm really lucky! My best friend is straight, so I was worried she might think I had a crush on her, but she didn't.
Haha lucky you! No one says things like that jokingly to me, presumably because they're worried about me getting ideas. Well, I supposed that's to be expected given that I live in the Southern US, but I'm lucky to live in a fairly open-minded town.

Yes, I agree. My male friend was all like "eewww, gross!" but now my other male friend has been wanting to learn more about it : ) I'm rather glad to have met him, because he's so different in that way

I was on Meez and this girl asked if I was gay or bi and I said bi and she instantly thought I would wanna do it with her.

Dreams-Child In reply to Chericegirl [2010-11-20 23:05:04 +0000 UTC]

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Chericegirl In reply to Dreams-Child [2010-11-20 23:08:09 +0000 UTC]

Yea, and it REALLY sucks at school.
Since everybody now knows I'm bi, they keep asking if I'm crushing on *insert a random girl here*. And in the changing rooms during gym class, if I decide to change anywhere that is not the bathroom, they think I'm trying to flirt with them.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Dreams-Child In reply to Chericegirl [2010-11-20 23:12:11 +0000 UTC]

I went through that too last year. I was lucky enough that a lot of my female friends understood, and they constantly stood up for me.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Chericegirl In reply to Dreams-Child [2010-11-20 23:22:46 +0000 UTC]

I don't have any friends in my class, or any friends that share the same gym period with me. My only "friend" doesn't even speak (she's really shy).

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Dreams-Child In reply to Chericegirl [2010-11-20 23:27:00 +0000 UTC]

Well, I don't know what to do then. My school is generally accepting, and most of my friends would stand up for me even if they all knew I was wrong.

If anything, I want to say that I accept you for who you are. Don't respond, pick a fight... do what is right for you.

Demented-Cupcake [2010-11-20 22:44:16 +0000 UTC]

I know! I remember girls at my school in Paducah talking like that. They were saying that they wouldn't want to be around a bi because they thought that she would be staring at their chests the entire time. Little did they know I was behind them. And only because they said that I looked at them. They were as flat-chested as I am |3
