Description Work in Progress - Photographs from 2010.

7 x 5.5 x 6 inches, made with an aluminum and tin core and sculpted in mostly Super Sculpey Firm. Detachable lower jaw. Since the jaw isn't set in (those are pins helping to secure it), it might look a little "off" at the moment.

This is a one-page layout of some different angles of a 1/8th Scale Hydralisk Reference Model I've been working on off and on for over a year and a half now. This is fan art from Blizzard Entertainment's StarCraft universe.

I'm looking forward to having time to finish him up one of these months...

Click on "Full View" for a crisper, less distorted version.

Fan art.

I've noticed a lot of people who sculpt on here use aluminum, is it cheap and easy to work with?

I've used aluminum and tin because they are light, pliable yet sturdy, come in a variety of gauges, and don't rust. I hope that helps!

This is looking sexy already. Great work so far! Have you touched it up since these photos?

Yeah. The photos here were from 2010 and I've done a bit with him since (but not enough to warrant re-photographing), hopefully in a month or two I'll have some time to really push through the rest of him and finish him up.

Thanks so much for the compliments! I'm glad you like him so far!

Thanks for the compliment! I'm glad you like it! And "professional" means many things to many people, but I don't sculpt for a living, if that's perhaps what you meant.

The moment both moves are complete, you can totally poke me. I got so many teeth done while talking with you, but my goodness that was so long ago! Iep!
