This was my first Hellsing artwork I. It was done on 11x17 cardstock. It took forever to ink, but i'm happy with itRelated content

Gorgeous, and as has already been stated - sick job on the smile. Again, one of the best Hellsing/Alucard fan pieces I've seen on DA.

The shadows on his coat are especially wonderful... and the lighting, the way the moon strikes him in that particular way. Great expression - it can be difficult to nail it, but you did. xD

Why thank you very much. It was a real blast to color. Inking took forever so i didn't enjoy it that much.

I understand what you mean. I had a large piece once, 24" x 15".. about 30% of it was to be inked black, and I did it all with a mechanical-pencil tip sized waterproof artists pen.. it took forever but it was amazing inked. Too bad I ruined it with rushed watercolours. xD

The idea with using photoshop and ink pens is a really great idea! I think the finished effect is excellent
I also like how you've got the light from the moon going through the trees it looks realistic

Yeah I reckon photoshop's quite fun. I've been mucking around with a few of my pictures to see what it looks like, but I think I've got a experiment a little while before I start using it heaps.

It was the background that caught my eye. I loved the moon it was just in the right spot makes the rest of the print just pop out...a wonderful job.
