Description
I've just begun to reread The Time Machine, by H. G. Wells. For like the eightieth time. This little doodle is my first interpretation of the little gadget The Time Traveller places on the table in front of his friends. Before the narrator described βthe gadgetβ an image of a tiny cluster of time-keeping mechanisms flashed into my mind. I imagined that the pieces were all moving silently inside of a glass orb. The entire miniature machine, in my mind, was small enough to fit into the palm of my hand.
