Its that stupid fanbase that makes it hard for me to like Sonic. Its idiots like Aknotheadpresident, Mariotehdumber, Alix Hemmeroidial, Micheodragoeighundraheah, Chris Chan, the Irate Hack, and Gupturd89/Gupfail89/Guptears89 that make me regret ever liking Sonic. But its people like SomeCallMeJohnny & Somecallmeelliot, AVGN, MeltingMan234, The Retro Replay, and TotalMK (yes-even a Mortal Kombat fan) that make me think that not all of the Sonic fanbase is horrendous.
Then again, I think Sonic is alright-but I like Mario more (not only because Mario Party was the first game I ever played, and I had a lot of great memories of playing SM64, and a lot of 3d successors). Because of the horrendous fanbase, I would probably go as low as to say that Sonic is a bit overrated.
