Drawn for a weird tumblr challenge thing. I really am not one to genderbend and don't like the idea of F!Quick but I'm satisfied with the art itself.I experimented with coloring a little bit, and used more soft cell than I normally do.

Now this is what a FemQuick should be like--Keeping mostly true to the male design while giving those small tastes and hints of feminine beauty.
I mostly don't see the appeal of genderbends myself although I did genderbend Pluto for an RP while keeping her true to her brutal Stardroid warrior roots. More of a social experiment to see how long it takes for one to figure out the gender while I keep her gender ambiguous.

... Pluto is one of my favorite stardroids. Now that you bring it up I think Pluto may have been pretty easy to make ambiguous or even full female. Am I mistaken? Was it difficult?

It was actually pretty easy because I figured with armor and stuff, Pluto would be fairly small in the chest department anyway; most of the feminized stuff went into softening Pluto's figure with a few minor curves and feminizing the facial features somewhat. Mentally--not much harder when I looked to bringing in a culture and background for the felinedroid.

Yeah the catlike appearance helps I am sure. Funny, I never would have considered it until you brought it up but now it seems as though a lot of sense could be made out of it. Sounds kinda fun, almost. Hah.

It does, actually, because I can go to feline anatomy for other things such as sexual dimorphism (IE: She's smaller because she's female), coat color differences between gender, stuff like that. Best part is I used the Mulan principle for the backstory of how a female Plutonian got into the Plutonian army and later the Stardroids because it fit with the Chinese-based culture for her.

Kept it under wraps. No one knows yet that "he's" a she. Unless they read her planet's history and culture and take the mulan-like legend in it and think hard about it.

Erm....without hair, breasts or skin-like material on Quick's body.........there's really no appeal.
Though, it DOES make you wonder why Dr. Light couldn't make more female robots.....

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I personally do not believe I could see any appeal in any female form of a male robot master, regardless of how feminine they were.
Given the time period that the games were made in, I doubt much concern was placed on gender equality.

Well science can't really mess with nature if you are dealing with robots, because robots have no assigned sex in the first place. That's where the line becomes sketchy for me.

I really... It really does become less appealing each day. I am really not one to turn a character into the opposite sex or gender just because xD But... the pose and coloring was fun I guess.
