Luna in human form, artwork for my Tarot Cards, but I liked it so much I wanted a copy of it on its own.I'm such a duppas!!
I forgot to cite the fabulously talented *singing-kiwi for the pose-reference!! I used her image [link] as a pose reference!!!

Oh my! I'm so sorry! I'm pretty new at DA, and it hadn't occurred to me to cite my references! I'm so used to me being the only person to see my work, that I forget basic decorum sometimes. I will of course credit you! I hope I didn't make you feel like I was trying to steal your work! I just really admire your style and took inspiration from your work!

Oh no, it's fine. I completely understand where you're coming from. When I first started on DA, I did the same thing. But I had some Moonies send me some pretty angry comments about not citing. I just don't want you to be subjected to that. And I'm flattered that you liked my art enough to take inspiration from it.
I think you've got a lot of talent and potential though. You did a great job on the hair and the eyes especially. My suggestion would be to keep playing around with your art and experimenting. I often look at many different artists and see how they shade, or colour, and it helps. I must say, for being new on DA, your art is pretty good. You should've seen some of my early stuff DX
I look forward to seeing more of your art and how you progress

Luna was the first piece I did after "discovering" the pen tool in photoshop (d'oh) And I feel like the more I practice the better I'm getting

Oh, of course. And there's trolls out there (for if you reference a manga picture from Naoko Takeuchi) and they'll report you. It gets nasty :/
You know, I still haven't mastered the pen tool in photoshop. I'm still just drawing it all with my tablet. You'll have to give me some pointers cos I have no clue how to use it
