Well in the comics starfire and nightwing were to be married Β but trigon raven crashed the wedding and put a seed of trigon in starfire causing her to go soul searching around the galaxy so then a whole mess of things would happen and when Β Bruce had his back broken by bane he gave nightwing the chance to be batman but before this dick purposes to babs and so when dick got this chance he said know because he wanted to focus on babs but then babs returned the ring saying that dick had to make choices and left him(so this is like if she didn't return the ring .but in the New 52 Comics nightwing had no relationship with babs a small one in the past with starfire but nothing about marriage HOPE THIS HELPED <3

This would be an excellent conclusion to this tragic love story. However I don't think DC would ever do it because they don't want to have a Spiderman/Mary Jane relationship to deal with.

A beautiful picture that, I suspect, represents wish fulfillment to Dick/Babs shippers everywhere. Now, was this really offical or did it just tickle you to make it look that way?
For some reason, I suspect that this day would make Bruce's blood pressure spike. Having to give the Shovel Talk to both the groom and the bride was likely a weird experience too.
