done with mouse and keyboard.This is my second submission with some big changes.
Tiger was made into a ship where the mouth is the docking bay.
Strawberry is being eaten by the pinup girl.
I spent so long on the first one I had to edit it further.

Whether or nor it's chosen, (competitions are funny things and have a mind of their own) i still think this is extremely well done and hv put it in my "sci-fi" collection here [link] . I guarantee you will see some images that will blow your mind. Crossing fingers for you

she's supposed to be eating a strawberry but I need to fix her up. Make her more retro and highlight it somehow... (and make her arm look not so broken)
eg... not sure if i should include words such as 'Bombshell, blown away, ' double entrendes, but one that is strawberry related... hmmm.
'strawberry bombshell' wouldn't work as it's usually blondes.
But it can't be too sexually explicit. damnit.

Yours is more a space themed collage, cool background though.
Mine is photo manipulation. Nebulae clouds and planet are from the photos, the ships are industrial photos and buildings, then painted over the top. All the flares and jet plumes are just Photoshop effects with different layer overlays, colour dodge and soft light. And distorted lens flares. Good luck in the comp.

I have to say I like them both... but I really love this... The tiger as the ship head just works perfectly.... and the pin up girl some how is a better fit... ships with maidens on the head and sailors with pin up tattoos... Why is it space makes me think of the ocean? Any way well done!!!

The tiger head took quite a while to do. the shadow from the ship, highlights and then the glow from the eyes but I think it was the right decision. Not too happy with the pinnup girl final result but I am glad you like it.

I like the pin up lady but I see hat you mean. I think what I would do is sharpen her up a little, perhaps even lessen the highlights slightly... then I think I would chip a bit of paint off her... make her look a little more distressed. But I think this version is fantastic

When i did a mockup from just a google image it looked cool but I literally submitted this one with 1 minute to spare. I can still fix her up and make it look a little more 'in place'. I agree with your comments though and thought the same (give it a worn painted appearance)

mouse and keyboard?! i would have already stranggled myself lol im a huge fan of the details! I only got to work on mine for like 3 hours cause i just found out today about the contest

it's tolerable, FPS games help with mouse co-ordination but that's half the reason I entered the comp, test what I could do with a mouse AND then to win an intuos. Had a look at your entry. Great trees, i didn't even notice at first they were pinapples. hehe... Very effective. Agree about the stock too, So many people will be disqualified even if the stock is free to use and isn't from a stock competitor.
