DUDE. THIS ARTWORK IS FLAWLESSLY DONE. Character and sensuality aside, this flawlessly done. Or perhaps sensuality included? I just mean that I feel as though regardless of how many other sexy pics you've created, this looks the best. The design, the lighting, the water, the figure, the face, the expression and not just the expression or the fact that it's "so sexy or sensual" or anything like that about the pose either, but specifically how you brought this all out. AH hopefully you know what I mean cause I'm rambling many times over. This is one of the best works of art I've seen in a long time. Seeing more of her or perhaps anyone else in their style and caliber regardless of whether its sexy or nor would be phenomenal! I honestly believe this is by far the best you've ever done. Β /cries

Gwen as LuckyGirl posing on a gargoyle against an evening sky. But I made a slightly different costume. It's super-reflective black latex, and she has high heeled shoes instead of kung-fu slippers.
If I can get the shiny latex right, it'll be an awesome pic..

If it's not an entire lecture of an answer, could I ask you how you got the water streak effect? Β I've been trying to do something similar with commissions but I'm not getting the desired effect...not as good as this at least.

Okay, here's how it's done:
Β (Using photoshop)
1. I shaded Gwen as usual, butΒ with strong highlights to make her look shiny.
2. On a new layer set to "overlay", using a small, black, slightly fuzzy brush, I covered her in streaks, moving vertically, trying to follow the contours of her body. She's supposed to be very wet, so I about %50 covered her. I tried to vary the widths of the streaks to keep them looking natural. There's also dots (for individual drips)Β scattered around.
Prior to adding the streaks, I selected the "Inks" layer (black and white line-art)Β and used the "Magic wand" tool to select all the negative space, then hit "Invert Selection" to highlight the entire figure. This keeps the random streaks from going "over the lines"
Β I then set this layer to about 6 or 7 percent opacity.Β Β
3. OnΒ another new layer, using a mixture of Paintbrush and Airbrush, I addedΒ white highlights, mostly sticking to the areas where light was already reflecting off the skin, including the side/back-lighting.
Β I went over these highlights with the eraser tool in places,Β to keep them subtle and to fade them a bit. (I could have spent another half hour on this part, but I stopped as soon as it was good enough).
Β That's it really..
The whole picture took about 6 hours or so, the water effect about an hour.

You know, I have to ask: would a ten year old actually look like this? I know this is just picture, & it's not really meant to be realistic, but I'm just not sure wether a ten year old girl could actually have a body like this. Twelve maybe, but I don't know about ten.

It's all down to biology.Β Some girls start developing sooner than others.Β I can tell you that I have an older sibling who by the time she was 16 fit in with people ten years older than her on looks alone.
