Hey folks!

This is the new profile picture for the SGARB Facebook page, which I urge you to "like" as it's a great way to keep up on the comic as well as contact me about the comic. I also tend to share little extras here and there and will continue to utilize it in the future. You can find it here: [link]

The previous promo image of Ross Boston, the one used for announcing the start date of the comic, was really kind of dark. I love that image but it just isn't very effective at getting peoples' attention. I think the idea was that I wanted very much to keep an air of mystery around the comic before its beginning and I guess it worked. Maybe.

But because of its darkness, it's not particularly eye-catching. The typography on the image was bright and bold so I guess that was okay but the image itself is really easy to miss and on some websites, it's even darker than usual. Especially on facebook, where it's surrounded by white at all times.

I've been meaning for weeks now to do up a new promo poster for the comic featuring the titular character, and last night I finally carved out some time to do it. I feel like this image is a lot more indicative of Ross's personality, timid but ultimately friendly. I've also decided to finally give his hair some color, as it's more interesting and versatile that way. This will go into effect in the comic starting on the next scene (things have been visually very dark in the comic but it's about to lighten up, so I'll just use THAT as my excuse for the pitch black hair up until this point).
