Description
My study in colour and movement - I've always seen these kind of shots but never actually tried it myself, so I thought I'd give it a go. The way I've moved the camera during the exposure has created an interesting perspective, as well as the slight perspective adjustment in lightroom. It almost looks like a paint brush effect on a window. All images are Β©copyright Drew Nelson Hopper. You may NOT use, replicate, manipulate, or modify this image without my permission. Great shot, usually these kinds of shots they just pan up and down, I like the weird curve going on

Interesting image. How did you get it to spin in different direction?

With a slight perspective adjustment in lightroom.

Really dig it. Interesting to get the concentric circles going away from each other? What were you doing to spin?

Thanks man. I actually gave it a slight perspective adjustment in lightroom before processing this one.

So many of these don't really work. This does, I like the colours and just enough movement so I can't tell what it is but I can see some detail. Not really my kind of thing but a well executed experimental shot non the less.

I never use to find these kind of shots interesting but after giving it a go myself I've decided I really fancy the effect. Glad you like it Jake!

lol, great minds think alike! The thought to suggest just that crossed my mind as soon as I wrote the word "texture" in my comment!
Yes, I think it's very original and it is pure texture!

I'm going to have to disagree with you. If you knew what it was then it would lose its sense of mystery but thanks.
