Description
Got really bored tonight so decided to chuck on the 50mm 1.8 and mess around with some long exposure self portraits. I quite liked this one, really brings out the demon insideRelated content

Use Adobe Fireworks or any freeware or shareware gif makers (there are probably about a million out there). You load up the secuencial images and save, and it's done, you have yourself an animated gif.

Do you have to buy Adobe Fireworks to make the gifs?

Well I believe you can download it from the Adobe website and use it for a limited time as a tryout period, afterwards you have to buy a license. Still I would suggest that if you don't plan of making many animated GIFs you could look into many easier to use, very small dedicated programs. As I mentioned before there are many freeware and shareware programs out there, Google will help you find some.
Fireworks, though simpler than Photoshop, still has a learning curve, so learning at least the basics in Fireworks would mean spending time fiddling around with it. If it is just for a couple of GIF, go with other programs. That being said, Fireworks is a very complete program allowing you to work with images in many ways and I personally use it a lot for web design.

I am going to be taking an online course in web design soon so that programe might come in handy for me by the sounds of how you use it for web design yourself. I will have a look into it sometime when I got some time to surf the web, right now I am trying to catch up on all my messages seeing though I have been away from dA for the weekend, it's all gone out of control lol
