Haha, again the jealousy fills me. When I look at photographic talent like yours I get jealous and inspired at the same time, which is a good thing don't get me wrong!
This picture is absolutely stunning. I wonder, because I assume that you have used a long exposure, how did you freeze the boats? Extracted from a single shorter exposure?
The picture is so calm and well-balanced. I love it!

Thank you very much. All a single exposure, the water was calm so it was ideal for a long exposure.

Wow, I must say you have been lucky with the timing then. I always get very rocky boats

Believe it or not that was the first shot I got whilst on my holiday to the Gold Coast. Just got in the state and went to the closest marina

Haha, now I am really jealous. Denmark does not really offer these kinds of scenery, or at least I have not been able to find them yet. Hopefully, when I move to China next summer I will get some change in Scenery
But I love the shot, absolutely stunning, calming and beautiful. I both admire and envy your talent!

Beautiful colours in the sky and I like how it is reflected in the water. Nicely done

The two main boats centered in the glow of light pull the shot into focus. The side boats are just the suporting cast. The water works so well because its not mirror clear and the total effect is just very pleasing to view.

How the heck do you get everything to look so damn sharp, without looking...yucky? I couldn't ever get anything to look so sharp without looking grainy or something.

Ohhh, I like this one a lot Drew!
The long exposure works perfectly giving the clouds that stunning motion towards us. Very nice reflections on the water, and very well balanced composition wise.
Excellent job mate.
