Monks chanting and praying inside the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong Temple in Luang Prabang, Laos.I sat through 15 minutes before they switched all the lights off. I thought it was finished until the candles were lit and the chanting continued. An incredible experience, I feel honoured to sit with such beautiful people.

That's how my church's Christmas Eve Mass goes: we have a service, then at the end the lights go out, and we sing "Silent Night" in the darkness with only candles for light. So I can imagine the kind of beauty you experienced. Thank you for sharing this.
